Components for the stormwater infiltration package

The heart of the domestic infiltration system. The DRAINMAX tunnel infiltration elements are large-volume, lightweight plastic shells with a capacity of 1.6 m³ that create a hollow volume in the soil. The rainwater is now buffered directly at the point of origin and infiltrated through the open bottom and the holes on the sides.

PLURAFIT filter with sedimentation, filtration and separation insert

is used for the pre-treatment of runoff water from low-polluted areas upstream of stormwater infiltration systems.

GTB-190 carpet pad

The special ribbon fabric is a particularly robust geotextile that withstands heavy loads and has excellent long-term water permeability. The smooth and displacement-resistant type of fabric allows the infiltration base to be cleaned using high-pressure sewer cleaners.

GT-300 Vlies cover

The polypropylene fleece is a particularly robust geotextile that can withstand heavy loads. Due to the good separation effect, it permanently retains dirt in front of the infiltration system, while at the same time providing excellent long-term water permeability.
The certified geotextiles conform to the DIBt-approved DRAINMAX tunnel.

 

 

DRAINMAX infiltration trench installation instructions

Due to the low weight of 32 kg, one tunnel can be carried by 2 people. The tunnels are connected to each other by overlapping. With only three different component shapes, a DRAINMAX infiltration trench can be installed in a short time.

DRAINMAX tunnel infiltration trenches are manufactured on one of the most modern and largest thermoforming production lines in Europe.

Compared to conventional gravel infiltration trenches with a retention volume of approx. 35 %, the DRAINMAX tunnel infiltration trench provides 100 % retention volume.
