System solutions for potable water production

With our complete systems for drinking water treatment, we offer a series of well-thought-out, pre-assembled systems.
Larger systems can be implemented by connecting two systems in parallel.

Decisive advantages of INTEWA systems

Functionality

AQUALOOP drinking water production system with rainwater from the roof from AL-DW9600

The so-called “roof drain water” is first pre-filtered using a PURAIN pre-filter before it enters the cistern (usually an external cistern). There is an underwater motor pump in the cistern that pumps the pre-filtered rainwater into the AQUALOOP membrane storage tank (1). If dirt accumulates here, it can be removed with a submersible motor pump (5). The water is hygienized via the AQUALOOP ultrafiltration membrane station (2) and pumped into the clear water storage. The membrane station can be serviced via the entry dome (3). With the automatic chemical cleaning (7), the membrane station can be cleaned automatically or when necessary. The membrane station can be further cleaned using the integrated blower (8). Remote control and monitoring is carried out using the I-CONNECT system (4). From this clear water storage tank, the treated water is conveyed to consumers via a pump and control center and an additional UV unit for redundant disinfection. If there is not enough rainwater, an integrated, DVGW-certified top-up with drinking water takes place.

AQUALOOP systems for drinking water production

The systems with the AQUALOOP-direct filtration unit include almost all components, except the tank and pipes, to create a water treatment system for rainwater to produce drinking water for single- and multi-family homes with a treatment volume of up to approx. 1000 liters of water required per day.

Questions and answers

Compliance with and checking the water quality as well as the maintenance of the system is the responsibility of the operator. Cross connections to the public water system are not permitted. The water can only be used for personal consumption without further approval.

Depending on the system, installation location and intended use and the implementation of a risk assessment, a specific plan must be drawn up to check and ensure water quality. Further information can be found in the operating instructions.

The maintenance and cleaning intervals can be found in the operating instructions. They differ depending on the type of system. A big advantage of our technology is that almost no disposable materials are required. This saves costs and protects the environment.

Yes, the big advantage of having your own drinking water production system is that it can also be retrofitted into an existing building, as the existing pipe systems can be used within the building.
